The membership fee for the Friends of Thwaite Gardens is £10 per annum, or £15 for two people at the same address, payable on or before the 1st August each year.
As a member you are free to visit and enjoy the Gardens during the normal opening hours (see below), or if you would like to become more active and help with ongoing work, we are always looking for members who are willing to help with the maintenance and the setting up of projects (with the approval of the University) in the Gardens. Friends have free entry to the Open Day, Spring and Autumn meetings and additional Sundays in August. Friends also receive two email newsletters each year.
The normal hours that the Friends of Thwaite Gardens volunteers meet on site to carry out gardening and project work are on Tuesdays 1 to 3pm and Fridays from 9.30am to 2pm.
